  The topic regarding Master / Guru / Priests is presented to you for your perusal and understanding, so that you are equipped with the various categories of religious persons in our society and how the impact on our daily life with advantages and disadvantages.   My interest in the field of the Navagraha was born well past 1994, when the Meenakshi Temple opened its doors. At that time, I believed in the procedure initiated at the Temple for planet worship. During 2005, I displayed a special intrest in Navagraha Worship and travelled to India and Penang (Malaysia) sponsored by Dr Mickey Chetty to study and understand the practice in the different parts of the globe. In 2016 I presented a draft and again corrected same in Malaysia. On my return to South Africa, I booked in at the Venda Sun (Limpopo) and spent some 10 days and incorporating the “Understanding of Navagraha Worship” into my book entitled “MEENA” which was manually laid by myself and graphically designed by Ms Janet Karuppen, a student of Theology.   Finally printed by Imprimatic Printers of Johannesburg.The book contains 232 pages and the cost of printing of 1000 books was borne by MC Security and Investigations via Dr Mickey Chetty. The proceeds from sale of the books was towards the renovation of the Meenakshi Temple, during 2016/2017. I will be honoured when you read and follow and understand the “Worship of Navagraha”, after consulting with a Trained Astrologist.   Each person is generally born on a different date/month/year/time within a family,therefore each member of a family might be involved in worshipping a particular Navagraha on different days, according to the planets.   In South Africa families as a whole, irrespective of their birth date, worship the Navagrahas mainly on Saturdays, which is totally incorrect. (Therefore a Trained Astrologist assistance is required) Further, each graha has its own colour of clothing, particular flower and cereal, not bananas for the 9 planets, as commonly seen at temples.   It is not too late to remedy the situation by following the relevant worship details as recorded in our Navagraha Worship in South Africa.  It is with emence joy and proudness that I pen a note to you. From the various publications of the author, i.e Meena, Sivan Maalai, Skanda Sasthi Kavasam, Saiva Siddhantha Notebook, the Priests Graduation Brouchure with Bharat University, (Chennai) the Tamil Teachers Graduation Brouchure (Tamil) and his continuous research into religious material for our benefit is appreciated. The interesting way forward and culniminating in a steady path towards the ultimate, in a very subtle way, the author skilfully maps out the foundation for our spiritual upliftment in this earthly existence, in the cycle of birth and death.   The commencement of the physical features of the planets has proven as a stepping stone to the remedial poosai of the various planets and prayers associated with the “Graha” together with the mantras and  songs has made our task so much easier in order for us to reduce our karma.The author has demonstated that after identifying the astrological planet by a Trained Astrologist, thereafter the individual can continue with the prayers by him or herself and then seeking the assistance of a Proficient Priest to complete this once in a life time worship of the Navagrahas.   The Meenakshi Sundareswara Koil of Lenasia South was constructed during July 1994 and its first Kumba Abishegam was held during the same month. The Navagraha Murthees were designed in Mahabalipuram which is a granite village 4 hours away from Chennai. The 9 planets arrived in South Africa and was installed by experienced Priests from Madurai in Tamil Nadu. Again the second Kumba Abishegam was held during Nov 2022 (Including installation of a new set of granite planets).
